One model. Every shift operation.Rostering and shift planning for every organisation that works in shifts

Rostify was built in air navigation — for positions that must be staffed around the clock, by people with the right qualifications, under strict rules. Many other organisations need exactly that.

  • Since 2018in daily operation at European ANSPs
  • 2–1,500staff per organisation

Three questions

  1. 01Do you plan shift work?
  2. 02Do working-time or rest-time rules apply?
  3. 03Must people with the same or different functions and permissions be rostered together?

Three times yes: Rostify is the best choice.

Positions per time slot, a rule check on every assignment, qualifications with expiry dates — and a finished roster from the AUTO Plan.

Military & air surveillanceRostering for air forces, military air traffic control and air surveillance

Every console staffed. Every rating valid.

  1. 1.

    Situation

Air surveillance and military air traffic control run around the clock. Every console and every position must be staffed in every time slot — by personnel whose ratings, endorsements and medicals are valid, within the rest and duty-time rules. Military air traffic services follow military regulations built on the international rule sets: the same work Rostify has planned every day at civil air navigation service providers since 2018.

  2. 2.

    Mission

Staff every position with qualified personnel. Keep every rule. Deliver the finished roster.

  3. 3.

    Execution

From demand to the console, in one database.

    1. a)
Position plan Which consoles must be staffed — in a 15-, 30- or 60-minute grid, per period.
    2. b)
Shift pattern The shifts that cover the demand with the fewest hours, checked against your rules.
    3. c)
AUTO Plan Six processor cores, about ten minutes: every MUST criterion met, more than 75 parameters weighed.
    4. d)
OPS daily plan Who holds which position, slot by slot — with display mode for the ops room.
    5. e)
Ratings check Every assignment checked against ratings, endorsements and validity; issues warn admin and supervisor, the plan keeps running.
  4. 4.

    Service support

Leave planning, shift swaps and requests from the app — rule-checked. Sick call: replacement proposals, open duties by SMS or push. Time clock, on-the-job training with trainer and trainee as a pair, e-briefings with read confirmation.

Airports & ground handlingShift and position planning for airport operations and handling agents

Every position. Every slot. Every day.

Check-in, gates, apron, baggage, operations control: demand changes with the season and the time of day. Rostify plans the shifts — and the daily work positions.

  1. 1
    Demand per season

The position plan sets what must be staffed — in a 15-, 30- or 60-minute grid, valid per season or traffic period.

  2. 2
    Daily work positions

The OPS daily plan assigns people to positions slot by slot — by hand or automatically, with the NOW line.

  3. 3
    On the ops room screen

Display mode and share link for the current plan.

  4. 4
    Certified staff

Qualifications with expiry dates per person. In security screening, for example, staff without certification under Regulation (EU) 2015/1998 may not perform their tasks.

  5. 5
    Short-notice gaps

Sick call: replacement proposals, open duties by SMS or push.

Aircraft maintenance · Part-145Shift planning for maintenance organisations — hangar, line station, workshop

Enough certifying staff. On every shift.

Hangar, line station, workshop: Part-145 asks for sufficient staff against a man-hour plan, for valid authorisations and for shifts that respect human performance limitations. Rostify brings it into one roster.

  1. 1

    145.A.30(d)

Sufficient staff against a man-hour plan; planned absence such as training and leave is to be considered.

Position plan per shift and station; leave planning in the same database.

  2. 2

    145.A.35

Release to service only by certifying staff with a valid authorisation.

Licence tree per person with validity; issues warn admin and supervisor before the shift.

  3. 3

    145.A.47

Planning and organisation of maintenance tasks must take into account human performance limitations, including the threat of fatigue during shifts.

Rest, fatigue and duty limits checked on every assignment.

  4. 4

    145.A.47

At a shift change, relevant information must be handed over between outgoing and incoming staff.

Handover time built into the shift: briefing at the start or the end of duty; e-briefings with read confirmation.

Emergency servicesRostering for emergency call centres, ambulance services and fire brigades

Minimum staffing. Around the clock.

Emergency call centres, rescue organisations, professional fire brigades: console, ambulance, engine — every function must be staffed, day and night, by qualified people, under strict working-time rules.

  • Emergency call centres

Day staffing is a multiple of the night — and the minimum applies around the clock.

Position plan in a 15-minute grid: every console, every time slot.

  • Rescue organisations

Every vehicle needs its crew — with the required qualifications.

Functions as positions; qualifications with expiry dates and warnings before they lapse.

  • Professional fire brigades

Standby counts: the ECJ treats standby at home with an eight-minute turnout as working time (C-518/15).

Your rule set — rest, duty and weekly limits — checked on every assignment.

The rules
